GAME RECAP: NESCAC Men's Soccer Week 4 White Mules trample Huskies September 26, 2001 Waterville, ME Men's Soccer NewsTHREE-GOAL SECOND HALF LEADS COLBY PAST CONNECTICUT COLLEGE NEW LONDON, CT. -- After a scoreless first half, Colby erupted for three goals in the second to defeat Connecticut College 3-1 this afternoon at Connecticut College. Sophomore forward Mike Ungerer (Paxton, MA) got the White Mules started when he found the net on an unassisted goal at the 50-minute mark. Colby, who picked up its first win in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) play this afternoon, extended its lead to 2-0 when freshman midfielder Ryan Boccuzzi (Storrs, CT) assisted on a goal by junior back Brian Mitchell (Poughkeepsie, NY) in the 63rd minute. The White Mules (3-3, 1-3) put the game away 10 minutes later senior midfielder David Manning (St. JohnÕs NF, Canada) beat the Connecticut College defense and scored unassisted. The Camels (2-5, 0-4) received an unassisted goal from junior midfielder P.J. Dee (New Canaan, CT).
