Mark Serdjenian recently finished his 29th year coaching the Colby men's soccer program with a 208-166-35 record.

Serdjenian, who graduated from Colby in 1973 with a degree in English, was co-captain of the team as a senior and was named All-Maine as a goalkeeper in each of his three varsity seasons.

In 1990 he was named Maine and New England Coach of the Year after the Mules completed the regular season undefeated and ranked number one in the region. He also was named 1993 Maine Coach of the Year.

After 11 years in elementary education, Serdjenian returned to Colby in 1984 as associate dean of students. He is a United States Soccer Federation licensed coach who holds the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Premier Diploma. Serdjenian also directs Colby's popular coed summer soccer camps.

Jon Hunt recently finished his first season as assistant coach of the men's soccer team and will enter his second year as Colby's assistant men's lacrosse coach this spring.

Hunt played lacrosse at Plymouth State College and was the school's Male Athlete of the Year in 2000. Hunt has extensive experience in teaching conditioning and speed training.

Hunt was a two-year assistant men's lacrosse coach at Quinnipiac University before coming to Colby. After earning his bachelor's degree from Plymouth State, Hunt spent one year as an assistant coach at Daniel Hand High School in Madison, Conn.
