Mark Serdjenian enters his 31st year coaching the Colby men's soccer program with a 215-173-35 record.

Serdjenian, who graduated from Colby in 1973 with a degree in English, was co-captain of the team as a senior and was named All-Maine as a goalkeeper in each of his three varsity seasons.

In 1990 he was named Maine and New England Coach of the Year after the Mules completed the regular season undefeated and ranked number one in the region. He also was named 1993 Maine Coach of the Year.

After 11 years in elementary education, Serdjenian returned to Colby in 1984 as associate dean of students. He is a United States Soccer Federation licensed coach and holds the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Premier Diploma. Serdjenian also directs Colby's popular coed summer soccer camps.

Jim Wade enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Colby coaching staff after three years as an assistant at Bates College.

Wade is currently the Director of Coaching for the Coastal Soccer Club (Maine), where he coaches under-17 and under-12 boys. He is on the Region I Olympic Development Program coaching staff, coaches the Maine ODP 89 boys, and holds a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Premier Diploma. Wade also is a senior staff coach with the Team Prep Camp in Casco, Maine each August.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Wade also has a master's degree from Indiana University.

Kerry Serdjenian joins the Mules for his second season as assistant coach. An all-state player and captain at Waterville (Maine) High School, Serdjenian went on to play two years of varsity soccer at Brandeis University. He then transferred to Arizona State University, graduating in 2000 with a degree in studio art. At ASU, his Sun Devil club team were national champions in his senior year.
