Mark Serdjenian, Head Coach
Mark Serdjenian enters his 25th year coaching the Colby men's soccer program, having compiled a 180-131-28 record.
Serdjenian, who graduated from Colby in 1973 with a degree in English, was co-captain of the team as a senior and
was named All-Maine goalkeeper in each of his three varsity seasons. In 1990 he was named Maine and New England Coach
of the Year after the White Mules completed the regular season undefeated and ranked number one in the region.
He also was named 1993 Maine Coach of the Year. After 11 years in elementary education, he returned to Colby in 1984
to work as associate dean of students for academics. He is a United States Soccer Federation licensed coach who holds
the NSCAA's Advanced National Diploma and is an associate NSCAA staff member. Serdjenian also directs Colby's popular
summer soccer camps and coaches the Maine Novas, U-18 girls premier club state champs.
