Jennifer Holsten begins her ninth year as head coach of the women's soccer program. During the past eight seasons, her teams have a 65-45-11 record and have qualified for six post-season appearances. Holsten is the all-time winningest coach in women's soccer history at Colby.

The team made six consecutive post-season appearances from 1995 to 2000, including two appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament. She has had 14 players named to the NSCAA All-New England team.

A native of western Massachusetts, Holsten was a three-sport varsity athlete at Colby in soccer, ice hockey, and softball and earned a bachelor's degree in government. She also holds a master's degree in education with a concentration in athletic administration from Springfield College.

Holsten is also the head coach of the women's ice hockey team at Colby.

Elizabeth Rice, a member of the Colby Class of 2002, begins her first season as an assistant coach with the Mules.

Rice was a four-year starter for Holsten on the women's soccer team. The squad made three post-season appearances in Rice's four years - including a berth in the NCAA Tournament during her first year.

A captain in 2001, Rice finished eighth in career scoring with 14 goals and 11 assists for 39 points.
