Jennifer Holsten enters her 10th year as head coach of the women's soccer program in 2003. Over the past nine seasons her teams have posted seven winning seasons, making her the most-winning coach in program history. The team had a string of six consecutive post-season appearances up until last season, including two appearances in the NCAA Division III National Tournament, and has had 14 players named to the NSCAA All-New England team. A native of western Massachusetts, Holsten was a three-sport varsity athlete at Colby in soccer, ice hockey, and softball and earned a bachelor's degree in government. She also holds a master's degree in education with a concentration in athletic administration from Springfield College. Holsten is also the head coach of the women's ice hockey team at Colby.

Christopher Weed, in his first year with the Mules, spent five years as coach of the varsity boys soccer team at Kingswood-Oxford School in West Hartford, Conn. He also coached varsity boys squash and junior varsity boys lacrosse during his time at Kingswood-Oxford. Weed has a bachelor's degree from Washington and Lee University and a master's degree from Quinnipiac University.
