Jennifer Holsten '90 recently returns for her 13th season as head coach of the Colby women's soccer team.

Over the past 12 seasons her teams have posted 10 winning records, making Holsten the most-winning coach in program history. Up until four years ago the team had a string of six consecutive post-season appearances, including two in the NCAA Division III Tournament, and has had 16 players named to the NSCAA All-New England team.

A native of western Massachusetts, Holsten was a three-sport varsity athlete at Colby in soccer, ice hockey, and softball and earned a bachelor's degree in government. She holds a master's degree in education with a concentration in athletic administration from Springfield College. Holsten is also assistant coach of the women's ice hockey team at Colby.

Chris Weed was an assistant for Colby head coach Jen Holsten during the 2004 season and now returns after a year’s absence. He spent five years as head coach of the varsity boys soccer team at Kingswood-Oxford School in Connecticut. Weed also coached varsity boys squash and junior varsity boys lacrosse during his time at Kingswood-Oxford.

Weed just earned his master’s in social work from the Smith College School of Social Work. He has a master’s degree from Quinnipiac University and a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University.
