Wheaton played its second match in as many days today in women's tennis losing to Colby College, 8-1 in a non-conference contest at the Clark Tennis Courts.

The Lyons drop to 0-2 on the season, while the White Mules improve to 2-0 overall.

Sophomore Captain Britt Palmedo (Ketchum, ID/Deerfield H.S.) led the charge for the White Mules in both singles and doubles competition. At the #1 singles spot, she surrendered zero points to Lyons sophomore Tanya Soares (Lincoln, RI/Lincoln H.S.) while also winning at #1 doubles, 8-3 alongside sophomore Jenny Grace (Darien, CT/Brewster H.S.). Grace posted a win at the #4 singles slot.
