Waterville, ME The Colby College women's tennis team (2-1) lost their first match of the season to Middlebury (1-0) Friday evening 2-7. The number one doubles duo of Britt Palmedo (03, Ketcham, ID) and Jenny Grace (03, Darien, CT) won their match versus Middlebury's Hillary Johnson (02, Concord, NH) and Kyle Wheale (02, Kinnelon, NJ) 8-4. Jenny Grace, playing in number four singles position, was the only individual to win a match for Colby (4-6, 6-3, 6-3). Middlebury was led by Hilary Johnson in number one singles (6-4, 6-1) and Sandy Spring (04, Westport, CT) in number two singles (6-3, 6-0).
