The Colby College women's volleyball team (20-18 overall) placed eighth in the 11 team New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Tournament held Friday and Saturday at Bowdoin College.

Colby won their first match on Friday night versus Hamilton College in four games (15-5, 15-13, 11-15, 15-10). Their second match of the night found them playing the number one seed in the tournament, Middlebury College. The White Mules could not get a break against the Panthers as Colby lost in three games (14-16, 6-15, 10-15). The Mules were forced into the consolation bracket following this loss.

Their first match on Saturday morning was against CBB rival Bowdoin College. Bowdoin fought well, but could not break the Mules as Colby swept the match (15-11, 15-12, 15-4). The second match of the day pitted the Mules against Wesleyan University, a team they had taken to five games in two different meetings this season. The Cardinals were hard to combat as Colby could not find their rhythm, and lost the match in three games (8-15, 4-15, 6-15).
