“Dalts” Dalton
Kate
started playing volleyball her sophomore year, after spending her first college
semester in France. Right away,
she was a welcomed addition to the team because of her heart and desire and
willingness to sacrifice her body on defense. Unfortunately, in the past two years she has been held
back by a shoulder injury that required surgery. She is still an important part of our team both through her
leadership and her dedication. Her
inspiration and positive attitude will be truly missed next season. Anne
“Speedy” Tricomi
Anne
has a never ending supply of energy and it is contagious to our team. She always seems to come up with the
most amazing plays just when the team needs it. Throughout her career, she has played numerous positions and
roles on the team. She currently
holds the school record for most aces in a 4 game match with 7 against Gordon
(currently ranked 11th in New England) on 9/21/01. Defensively, she has been a true leader on the team and will
be missed immensely.Amanda
“Cuf” Cuiffo
Where
to begin…Amanda Cuiffo has been such a tremendous all around player for
our volleyball program the past 3 1/2 years. During the past three years, she has tallied more honors
than any other player in Colby Volleyball history, including the New England
Rookie of the Year her freshman year. She currently holds 7 school records in various
categories such as: kills per
match, aces per match, and career digs and kills with the better half of her
senior year left to play. “Cuf” is much more than our go-to player on the
volleyball court. She has been an
amazing leader on and off the court as a two year captain. Over the past four years, the
Colby Volleyball program has gained much respect within New England, currently
ranked 15 out of 61 programs and much of the success is due to the hard work
and dedication of Amanda Cuiffo. The Following Statistics are Available:Box Scores
