WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College's Jason Buco (Metheun, Mass.) homered and had three runs scored, but Trinity College scored all seven of its runs after the fourth inning in a 7-5 win over the Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Friday at Coombs Field.
Michael Rueger (Teaneck, N.J.) hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning to break a scoreless game.
The Bantams move to 12-5 overall and 1-0 in the league, while the Mules fall to 7-6 overall and 0-1 in the conference. The same teams meet for a doubleheader on Coombs Field on Saturday at noon.

The Mules recovered one of the runs in the bottom of the fifth when first-year outfielder Buco homered to lead off the inning.

After a walk to Brendan Gallagher (Dublin, N.H.), Mike Mastrocola (Southbury, Conn.) had a sacrifice fly to left field to bring in Atsalis for the final run of the game.
