  WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College senior outfielder Richard Newton (Arlington, Mass.), who had the best year of his collegiate career after batting .400, was honored two times Wednesday as a New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) Third Team pick and a New England Small College Athletic Conference Second Team All-Conference selection.

  WATERVILLE, Maine --- Dom Morrill (South Thomaston, Maine) pitched seven strong innings to earn the win in his final collegiate game and reliever Abhi Chandel (Columbus, N.J.) did not allow a hit in the final two innings to pick up the save as the Colby College baseball team ended the season with a 5-4 victory over playoff-bound Bowdoin College on Friday at Coombs Field.

  WATERVILLE, Maine --- Women's lacrosse player Lexi Crook, men's alpine skier Vincent Lebrun-Fortin, and men's lacrosse player Craig Bunker all were named Millett Award winners at the Colby College Senior Awards Presentation on Thursday night for contributing the most to Colby athletics in their four years.
