Mastrocola, Arndt, Buco on baseball All-NESCAC team | May 16, 2012
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College's Mike Mastrocola (Southbury, Conn.), Robb Arndt (Yarmouth, Maine), and Jason Buco (Methuen, Mass.) were each named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference Baseball All-Conference Team on Wednesday.

PORTLAND, Maine --- The Colby College baseball team nearly did away with a 7-0 deficit with six runs in the top of the ninth inning, but Bates College held on for a 7-6 win over the Mules in a game at Hadlock Field, the home of the Class-AA Portland Sea Dogs.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College baseball team had a home run from Mike Mastrocola (Southbury, Conn.) in the opener, but Bates College took advantage of some costly errors in a 7-2 win and the Bobcats held on for a 7-4 victory in the nightcap on Saturday in NESCAC East play.

Colby baseball defeats Plymouth State to win 16th game | April 27, 2012
GORHAM, Maine --- The Colby College baseball team beat Plymouth State for the third time this season after scoring five runs in the first three innings on the way to a 7-6 non-conference win over the Panthers on Friday at University of Southern Maine.
The Mules, who took 17-2 and 12-6 wins over Plymouth State in Florida, improved to 16-14 overall. The Panthers fell to 13-19 overall.
Colby had 11 hits in the game and took advantage of three Panther errors. The Mules had two errors in the game but four Colby pitchers allowed just six hits.
Devlin McConnell had a double and a single for the Mules and he caught all nine innings. Robb Arndt, Luke Duncklee, and Taro Gold also had two hits for the Mules.
Paul Reny had two of the six hits for the Panthers, while Ryan McIntosh had a double.
The Mules had the lead for good after scoring four runs in the bottom of the second inning. They added lone runs in the third, fifth, and seventh innings. The Panthers got as close as 6-5 after scoring a lone run int he top of the seventh inning, but the Mules answered back in the bottom of the seventh with their final run.
