Men's crew 13th, women 19th at Snake Regatta

WORCESTER, Mass. --- The Colby College men’s varsity 8 crew placed 13th out of 24 boats and the women’s 8 was 19th out of 36 at the 2011 Quinsigamond Snake Regatta on Saturday.

The men had a time of 13 minutes, 57.819 seconds to finish less than two seconds behind 12th place Vermont. Holy Cross won the race with a clocking of 12:55.356.

The Colby ‘B’ boat took 16th with a 14:15.903 and the ‘C’ boat was 21st in 16:14.166.

The Colby women clocked a 16:09.350 in their race and the Mule ‘B’ boat took 30th place in 18:10.098. The Colby men’s 4 were third place out of 20 boats with a time of 14:37.324.
