Crews open season at Textile River Regatta

LOWELL, Mass. --- The Colby College men's crew club 8 boat placed 11th and the women took 15th at the Textile River Regatta on Sunday in the fall season opener for the Mules.
 
The Colby men had a time of 19 minutes, 18.876 seconds to finish just a few seconds outside the top 10. Meanwhile, the women's club 8 boat had a clocking of 22:08.251.
 
In men's open 4 racing, the Colby 'A' boat took third place in the field of 25 with a time of 19:51.731. The Mules also had their 'B' boat take eighth place in 20:16.619.
 
In women's open 8 racing, the Mules had a time of 21:07.038 to take fourth out of four boats.
