WATERVILLE, Maine --- Hannah O'Brien (Wolfeboro Falls, N.H.) scored her team-best fourth goal of the season and fellow senior Sally Klose (McLean, Va.) also tallied for the Colby College field hockey team in a 2-0 non-conference win over St. Joseph's College on Tuesday niight at Bill Alfond Field.
 
The Mules have won three of their last four games in moving to 4-8 overall. St. Joseph's drops to 9-4 overall.
 
O'Brien scored 11:57 into the game after Monk goaltender Meaghan Johnson (Portland, Maine) had made two saves in a row. Courtney Erskine (Turner, Maine) had the assist on the play after pushing a rebound to O'Brien for the goal.
 
Klose gave the Mules somed needed breathing room after Johnson continued to keep the Monks in the game with some outstanding stops. Johnson finished with 12 saves in the first half and 18 for the game. Natalie Fischer (Freeland, Md.). had the assist on the goal by Klose at 48 minutes.
 
Colby goaltender Michelle Burt (Woodridge, Conn.) had three saves for her second shutout of the season.
