WATERVILLE, Maine --- Heather Quadir (Medfield, Mass.) scored three goals and added an assist as the Colby College field hockey team scored five times in the second half to pull away for a 7-0 non-conference field hockey victory over Thomas College on Wednesday night.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Chelsea Rosenheimer (Nashotah, Wis.) scored for Colby College, but Whitney MacDaniel (Livermore, Maine) made her first collegiate goal a memorable one by scoring in overtime to lift the University of Southern Maine field hockey team to a 2-1 season-opening victory over the Mules in non-conference play Saturday at Bill Alfond Field.

WATERVILLE, Maine ­-- Colby College senior Jamie Enos (Brooks School/South Hamilton, Mass.) and junior Mary Clare Snediker (Greenwich School/New Canaan, Conn.) were both selected to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Field Hockey All-Conference Team on Wednesday.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Junior forward Mary Clare Snediker (Greenwich Academy/New Canaan, Conn.), who led Colby College to a win over Bates College on Saturday, was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending October 28.
