WATERVILLE, Maine --- Heather Quadir (Medfield, Mass.) continued her torrid scoring pace with two goals and two assists for the Colby College field hockey team in a 5-1 victory over University of Maine at Farmington on Wednesday night in the rain at Bill Alfond Field.

Field hockey leads early in loss to Middlebury (09/27/2008)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College field hockey team took a 2-0 lead over second-ranked Middlebury College, but the Panthers fought back to go up 3-2 at halftime on the way to a 7-3 win in NESCAC play Saturday at Bill Alfond Field.

MEDFORD, Mass. --- Colby College goalie Liz Fontaine kept her team in the game for more than a half with outstanding play in the nets, but 14th-ranked Tufts University wore down the Mules in a 5-0 victory in New England Small College Athletic Conference field hockey Saturday.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Chelsea Rosenheimer (Nashotah, Wis.) scored for Colby College, but Whitney MacDaniel (Livermore, Maine) made her first collegiate goal a memorable one by scoring in overtime to lift the University of Southern Maine field hockey team to a 2-1 season-opening victory over the Mules in non-conference play Saturday at Bill Alfond Field.
