Lampert helps Colby golf end season strong

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Thomas Lampert had the top score of the day with a 35 and Harry Smith added a 33 as the Colby College golf team closed out the season with a win over Bates College in the Sid Farr Invitational on Sunday at the Waterville Country Club.
The tourney was stableford scoring (most points wins), with an eagle worth eight points, a birdie at four points, a par worth two points, a bogey counting as one point, and double bogey or more as zero points.
Lampert had a 35 for the Mules and captain Smith finished with a 33. Peter Gabranski added a 30 and Tripp Huber and Taggie Martin both had a 28.
Garrett Johnson led Bates with a 29 and Jared Quenzel had a 28.
