WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College's Chris Hudnut (Chevy Chase, Md.) took one week to earn his first honor after being named the Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association Rookie of the Week for the week ending Nov. 18.

Hudnut made the all-tournament team at the Babson College Invitational, despite playing limited minutes while coming back from an injury. He averaged 15 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest in a 74-61 win against Wentworth Institute of Technoloy and a 60-54 setback to Babson.

In three games for the Mules, Hudnut is averaging a team-best 11.7 points in just 18 minutes of action. He is part of a first-year class that is making quick strides, with four of the top five scorers on the team in their first year at Colby.

Colby (1-2 overall) will host the Colby Classic on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The Mules' home opener will be against Fisher College in the tourney at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
