Men's cross country has best NESCAC finish since 2006

AMHERST, Mass. --- The improving Colby College men's cross country team moved into 10th place at the NESCAC Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday for the first time since 2006.
 
The Mules had finished 11th and last each of the last four years, but their team score was improving year after year. The Mules finished ahead of Trinity College and were just three points behind Hamilton College with their 259 total.
 
Colby's Ben Lester finished in 54th place in 27 minutes, 30 seconds over the five-mile course. Charlie Coffman took 57th with a 27:37, Will McCarthy placed 60th in 27:42, Corey Park took 64th in 27:45, and Jeff Hale had a 27:49 for 68th.
