WATERVILLE, Maine --- Tom Letourneau was the second overall finisher and first among collegiate runners in helping the host Mules win the Colby College Men's Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.
Jeff Tucker of the Colby Nordic ski team won the five-mile race in 29 minutes, 39.86 seconds. Letourneau crossed first for the Mules in 29:52.22.
Colby finished with a winning score of 21 points and was followed by Maine Maritime Academy (66), Thomas College (77), Maine-Farmington (82), and Husson University (124). Unity College and University of Maine at Augusta also competed in the meet.
Colby's Jim D'Agostino was third overall in 29:57.51 and teammate Seth Gilbane took fourth in 29:59.02. Nolan Dumont finished in fifth place for Colby with a 30:00.18, while Unity's Taylor Noble (30:09.2) took sixth and Maine-Farmington's Jackson Fortin placed seventh in 30:21.43.
