Men's crews both take 11th at Snake Regatta

WORCESTER, Mass. --- The Colby College men's varsity 8 crew finished in 11th place out of 27 boats at the 2012 Quinsigamond Snake Regatta on Saturday.
 
The Mules finished in a time of 14 minutes, 36.601 seconds over the 2,000-meter course. Holy Cross won the event in 13:51.577. The Colby 'B' boat was 27th with a time of 17:36.196.
 
Members of the varsity 8 boat included: Camille Angelo (coxswain), James Rabjohns, Timothy Dutton, Nate Krump, Noah Teachey, Pat Adams, David Watson, Sam Zoloth, and Daniel Meyer. In the Colby 'B' boat was Emmie Lai (coxswain), Terry O'Connor, Cole Stevens, Benjamin Ale-Ebrahim, Ryan Hoffman, Bill Lin, Arjun Sahgal, Paul Dougherty, and Ryan Weeks.
 
The Colby varsity 4 boat also took 11th place with a clocking of 16:28.837. Sylvia Xu (coxswain), Ian Tibbetts, Charlie Leeds, Artur Fass, and Ted Burt were in the boat for the Mules.
 
Colby will compete at the Head of the Charles Regatta next Saturday and Sunday.
