LEWISTON, Maine --- The Colby College men's basketball team clinched a New England Small College Athletic Conference playoff bid and beat one of their Maine rivals with a 63-62 win over Bates College on Friday night at Alumni Gym.

More honors for basketball player Farrell (02/06/2007)
WATERVILLE, Maine ­-- The honors keep coming in this week for Colby College men’s basketball player Nick Farrell (Aspen, Colo.). Two days after being honored by his own conference, Farrell was selected as the DIII News Player of the Month for January and he earned Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Division III Player of the Week honors for the week ending February 4.

WATERVILLE, Maine ­--- Colby College’s Nick Farrell (Aspen, Colo.) scored a collegiate-high 39 points and went over 1,000 career points in his final regular season home game at Wadsworth Gymnasium as the Mules took an 81-67 victory over rival Bowdoin College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference game Saturday.
