  WATERVILLE, Maine ---- Harry Smith (Locust Valley, N.Y.) achieved a rare feat Tuesday after being named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference Winter All-Sportsmanship Team for a fourth straight year while also earning All-NESCAC playing honors in his four seasons.

  WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College senior forward Mike Doherty (Exeter Academy/Lynnfield, Mass.) is one of 18 semifinalists for the prestigious Joe Concannon Award, presented annually to the best American-born college men's hockey player in New England playing at the NCAA Division II/III level.

  NEW LONDON, Conn. --- With elimination from the playoffs facing them in the third period, the Colby College men's hockey team pulled together and received 34 saves from goalie Matt Delaney (Houston, Texas) and the game-winning goal from Mike Doherty (Lynnfield, Mass.) with 4:04 left in the game to pull out a 3-2 road win over Connecticut College on Friday.
