CLINTON, N.Y. --- The Colby College men's soccer team had a 17-15 shot advantage, but Hamilton College made two of its shots count in a 2-0 victory over the Mules in NESCAC play on Sunday.
Colby drops to 3-7-2 overall and 0-6-2 in the conference heading into Saturday's 11 a.m. home game with Williams College.
The Continentals scored at 7:40 of the opening half on a goal by Hennie Bosman.
The game stayed that way until Anthony Balbo tallied unassisted with just 4:35 left in the contest.
Eric Boole made five saves in goal for the Hamilton shutout, while Cody Funkhouser made one stop for the Mules.
The Continentals (4-6-2 overall, 2-5-2 NESCAC) defeated Colby for the first time in five meetings.
