WATERVILLE, Maine --- Zach Grady (East Bridgewater, Mass.) scored the first goal of the game for Williams College and added an assist as the Ephs stayed unbeaten on the season with a 4-0 win over Colby College on Saturday in NESCAC men's soccer.
Williams moves to 10-0-2 overall and 7-0-2 in conference play, while Colby falls to 3-8-2 overall and 0-7-2 in the conference. Grady tallied at 29:20 of the first half for the lone goal before intermission. He took a cross from Patrick Ebobisse (Bethesda, Md.) and scored into the bottom right corner of the net. The Ephs added some insurance goals at 55:15 and 58:40 to make it 3-0. Christman tallied unassisted off a shot to the top left corner of the goal, while Jonathan Westling (Sudbury, Mass.) made it 3-0 from Grady. Troy Ritter (Santa Barbara, Calif.) entered the game with about 15 minutes left and then tallied about 10 minutes later off a header from a cross by teammate Chris Seitz (Missouri, Texas). Than Finan (Williamstown, Mass.) stopped five shots for the Williams shutout. Cody Funkhouser (Hopewell, N.J.) made a pair of saves for Colby.
