WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College senior Andrew Meisel (Newtown, Conn.), who led the Mules in assists in all four seasons, was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference First Team Men's Soccer All-Conference squad on Thursday.
Meisel, now a two-time All-NESCAC selection after making the second team last year, finished his career at Colby with nine goals and 15 assists for 33 points. Meisel was a highly-skilled player, with excellent dribbling and passing abilities.
Meisel had two goals and three assists after both his senior and first years with the Mules. His best scoring season was three goals and four assists for 10 points a year ago. Meisel had his best year with assists at five in the 2010 season.
