WATERVILLE, Maine --- Senior co-captain Matt Boyes-Watson and junior Nick Nowak were each honored with the Mike Loebs MVP Award for the Colby College men's soccer team at their awards night.

Boyes-Watson and Nowak were both key defenders for Colby, which made the NESCAC playoffs for the third straight season.

Eric Barthold, Colby's leading scorer with five goals and one assist, earned the Sam Koch Award for Spirit and Dedication. Barthold overcame breaking his foot twice in the past two years to lead the offense this season. Barthold also played in the New England Senior All-Star Game.

Jeremy Lachtrupp earned the Jamie Lue Coaches' Award for love of soccer, team, and teammates. The senior midfielder did a fine job starting and coming off the bench.
