WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College's Mason Roberts (San Rafael, Calif.) earned two New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving All-Conference honors after finishing in the top three of two events at the league championship meet this past weekend.

Roberts finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke and third in the 50 breaststroke. He also placed sixth in the 100 breaststroke in helping the Mules place eighth overall.

Roberts set three school records in the events to top the previous marks by Jonathan Eck '03. Roberts had a 2:04.08 in the 200 breaststroke, a 26.07 in the 50 breaststroke, and a 56.73 in the 100 breaststroke. The 56.73 in the 100 was the top preliminary race clocking and was the second-best time of the day.

Roberts is likely to qualify for the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, but the announcement of qualifiers will not be made until Friday. The national meet is held in Indianapolis from March 20-24.
