Bachelder has lone win for men's tennis in loss

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Sam Bachelder won at the fourth singles spot for the Colby College men's tennis team in an 8-1 loss to 15th-ranked Bates College in NESCAC play Wednesday.
 
Bachelder lost 7-5 in the first set, but took the second second in easy fashion at 6-1 and then won a tough 14-12 pro-set for the match.
 
The Bobcats won all three doubles matches and Tim Berg won at first singles

Bates moves to 6-5 overall and 3-2 in the NESCAC, while the Mules fall to 10-5 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
