WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- The run of Colby College's Jack Bryant and Matt Carroll in doubles play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) New England Region Championships ended with a quarterfinal loss on Saturday.
 
Bryant and Carroll fell 8-3 to Middlebury's Alec Parower and Derrick Angle in the quarterfinal match. The Colby players had started with a first round win over Kyle DeSisto and Pierre Planche of Bates and then took a walkover win over the fifth-seeded Amherst team of Joey Fritz and Wes Waterman in the second round.
 
Colby's other doubles team of Robert Yee and Tom Kimball fell in the second round by a score of 8-2 to Andrew Scheiner and Chris Dale of Amherst.
