Ottomano/Martin win match at regional meet

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- The Colby College doubles team of Jason Ottomano (Weston, Conn.) and Luke Martin (East Sandwich, Mass.) moved into the second round of the United States Tennis Association (USTA)/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) New England Regional Men's Tennis Championships at Williams College on Friday.
 
Ottomano and Martin combined for an 8-4 win against a team from the University of Southern Maine. The Colby pair will next go up against a duo from Bowdoin College in the second round.
 
In singles play, the Mules' Sam Bachelder (Wenham, Mass.) fell 6-1, 6-0 to top-seeded Mark Kahan of Amherst College.
