NEW YORK, N.Y. --- Colby College's Dom Kone (Bucksport, Maine) won the ECAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships title in the 60-meter dash Saturday in what continues to be a huge season for the junior.

Kone has an impressive resume of wins already this indoor season. He won the 200 dash at the New England Division III meet and was a winner in the 100 dash, 200 dash, and long jump at the Maine State meet. Kone heads to Grinnell College in Iowa for the NCAA Division III Championships this Friday and Saturday.

Kone earned 10 points for the Mules with his school-record winning time of 6.80 in the 60 dash. He had the fastest time of the day on Friday with a 6.83 in a preliminary race. Kone had the fastest time in the country in the 55 dash at last year's national meet in a preliminary race, but hurt a hamstring in the championship final. Kone hast the fastest time in the country in the 60 dash and heads into the NCAA tourney as a favorite.

Luke Doherty Munro (Hudson, Mass.) finished in seventh place and earned two points with a personal-best time of 2:30.43 in the 1,000-meter run. Doherty Munro now ranks second all-time on the performance list for the 1,000 meters.

Dylan Nisky (Hong Kong, China) had Colby's other two points for taking seventh in the 800 meters with a 1:54.76 clocking. Nisky, who will join Kone at the national meet, currently stands eighth in the national rankings in the 800.

Matt White (Wellesley, Mass.), Ben Lester (Medfield, Mass.), Doherty Munro, and Nisky finished in 12th place in the 3,200 relay with a time of 7:55.94.

Colby finished in 23rd place out of 62 scoring teams with 14 points.
