Smith leads winter NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team

WATERVILLE, Maine ---- Harry Smith (Locust Valley, N.Y.) achieved a rare feat Tuesday after being named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference Winter All-Sportsmanship Team for a fourth straight year while also earning All-NESCAC playing honors in his four seasons.
 
The NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team recognizes student-athletes from each varsity sport who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to sportsmanship. These student-athletes exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, opponents, and spectators. The honorees were selected by the players and coaches of their respective teams.
 
Colby's student-athletes honored included: Kyle Donovan (Portland, Maine), men's basketball, senior; Aarika Ritchie (Lee, Maine), women's basketball, senior; Dan Nelson (Northbrook, Ill.), men's hockey, senior; Hannah O'Brien (Wolfeboro Falls, N.H.), women's hockey, senior; Smith, men's squash, senior; Kate Pistel (Amherst, Mass.), women's squash, junior; Adam Spierer (Bedford, N.H.), men's swimming and diving, junior; and Charlotte Veazie (Parker, Colo.), women's swimming and diving, senior.
 
Nelson, Pistel, and Spierer were all on the team for a second straight year. Pistel joined Smith as all-conference selections in their respective sports.
