Softball goes 10 innings to beat Thomas, 6-5 (04/14/2014)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Meaghan Lewia (Wells, Maine) singled in Carolyn Bennett (Scarborough, Maine) with the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning and Colby College's Megan Michie (Rhinebeck, N.Y.) had some clutch pitching to help the Mules to a 6-5 win over Thomas College in non-conference softball at Crafts Field.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- James Connelly (North Attleboro, Mass.) picked up his first collegiate victory with five innings of one-hit relief to help the Colby College baseball team fight back for a 3-2 win over local rival Thomas College in non-conference play Monday at Coombs Field.

Men's tennis at 11 wins after beating Hamilton (04/12/2014)
CLINTON, N.Y. --- Carl Reid improved to 10-0 at first singles in helping the Colby College men's tennis team to a 7-2 NESCAC men's tennis win over Hamilton College on Saturday. Reid, a first-year, is 10-1 overall along with classmate Vlad Murad.

LEWISTON, Maine --- Kate MacNamee won the hammer throw and Annabelle Hicks was a winner in the long jump for the Colby College women's outdoor track and field team in a tri-meet with Bates College and MIT on Saturday.

LEWISTON, Maine --- Ethan Druskat sprinted to a victory in the 100-meter dash and David Chelimo was a winner for the Colby College men's outdoor track and field team in the 5,000 meters in a meet Saturday at Bates College.

LOWELL, Mass. --- The Colby College women's varsity 8 placed first and the second varsity 8 also beat Coast Guard Academy in rowing on Saturday.

Women's lacrosse loses late lead, falls in OT (04/12/2014)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Katharine Eddy had five goals and one assist for the Colby College women's lacrosse team, but 10th-ranked Williams College scored three goals in the final 4:46 of regulation to send the game to overtime and Rebecca McGovern tallied in sudden-death time as the Ephs took a 10-9 NESCAC win Saturday at Bill Alfond Field.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- The Colby College men's lacrosse team had a 6-4 scoring advantage over Williams College in the final three quarters, but the Ephs had a 6-1 margin in the first quarter on the way to a 10-7 NESCAC win Saturday.

BRUNSWICK, Maine --- Colby College pitcher Aimee Polimeno had one of her strongest days on the mound in her collegiate career Saturday only to have Bowdoin College take 1-0 and 4-2 victories in NESCAC East play.
