MIDDLEBURY, Vt. --- Marc Massie finished in 13th place in the men's slalom and Natalie Biedermann was 17th for the women as each Colby College alpine team placed sixth at the Middlebury Ski Carnival on Friday.

Massie had a two-run total time of 1:34.35, while teammate Will Randall was 28th with a 1:42.27. The Mules had three skiers either not start or finish the second run.

Biedermann finished in 1:36.21 over her two runs for the Colby women. Brittney Ziebell took 25th place and Devon Engle was 27th. Cassady Roberts was in sixth place after the first run with a 45.88, but did not finish her second run.
