Ryan leads alpine skiers in giant slalom

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. --- Jim Ryan placed 14th in the giant slalom to lead three Colby College men's alpine skiers in the top 20 on Saturday at the Middlebury Ski Carnival at the Snow Bowl.

Ryan had a two-run total time of 2:02.32, while teammate Will Randall took 19th place in 2:02.87 and Matthew McKenna finished 20th with a 2:02.90 as the Mules placed fifth.

For the Colby women, Cassady Roberts was 18th with a 2:08.48. Natalie Biedermann had a 2:09.34 to finish 22nd and Katie Houser was 25th in 2:10.05 for the eighth-place Mules.
