BOZEMAN, Mont. --- Colby College's Vincent Lebrun-Fortin (Montreal, Quebec) earned his second All-American honor by making the first team in finishing fifth in the men's slalom at the NCAA Skiing Championships on Saturday at Bridger Bowl.

Lebrun-Fortin, a first-year skier, had earned second team honors for placing seventh in the giant slalom on Thursday. The top five finishers in the event earn first team honors and the next five make the second team. Lebrun-Fortin helped the Mules, despite not having a full team of at least three skiers, finish fifth in the slalom with 61 points.

Lebrun-Fortin was in second place after a first run of 50.79 and then had the 14th-best run of 52.39 on his second trip down the hill for a total time of 1:43.18. Denver's John Buchar won the event with a two-run total time of 1:42.10.

The Mules had two of the top 14 skiers in the country after Josh Kernan (Shelburne, N.H.) placed 14th with runs of 53.49 and 52.77 for a 1:46.26. Kernan had the 16th-best runs on each trip.
