Baseball opens season with setbacks

PHOENIX, Ariz. --- The Colby College baseball team opened the season with 12-4 and 12-4 setbacks to Middlebury College in a doubleheader Saturday night at the Greater Phoenix Invitational.

Andy Carr, the starting pitcher in the opening game for the Mules, had three hits in the second game and added a pair of RBI in the first game. John Murphy added two hits in the nightcap and Ryan Conlon finished with a pair of RBI.
