WINTER HAVEN, Fla. --- The Colby College baseball team scored 12 runs and pounded out 14 hits against the fifth-ranked team in the country, but Trinity College had 18 hits of its own in a 14-12 win over the Mules in the second game of a doubleheader Friday. Trinity also won the opening game and finished with 18 hits in an 18-1 victory. Mike Mastrocola had three hits, including two doubles, and three RBI to lead Colby's offense in the second game. Brendan Gallagher had an RBI triple among his two hits, while Jake Kramer had two hits and two RBI. Brandon Nieuw and Nikolis Atsalis both had two hits. In the first game, Richard Newton had an RBI double among his two hits for Colby (3-5 overall, 0-3 NESCAC). Trinity 18, Colby 1 (1st game)
