Colby baseball finishes trip with victory

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. --- Brendan Gallagher went 3-for-4, scored twice, and had three RBI to lead the Colby College baseball team to a 9-7 victory over St. Olaf in the final game of the Mules'  spring trip to Florida on Saturday.

Colby, which finished 4-5 on the trip, trailed 7-2 after six innings. The Mules scored twice in the seventh inning and added five runs in the eighth to pull out the win. Gallagher had a two-run single in the eighth, while Ryan Conlon, Nikolas Atsalis, and John LaMantia all had RBI singles.

Atsalis added three hits for the Mules, while Conlon had two hits and a pair of runs.

Brady Hesslein earned his first collegiate win for the Mules in relief. Wil Hartigan picked up the save for Colby.
