Baseball drops two games to Bowdoin

FALMOUTH, Mass. --- The Bowdoin College and Colby College baseball teams headed all the way to Massachusetts for a doubleheader, with the Polar Bears earning 5-2 and 11-1 wins in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday.

The two teams met at Falmouth's Fuller Field after both squad's fields were pounded with snow during the recent storm.

Bowdoin (9-7) only had a 20-16 hit advantage over the Mules (2-9) in the two games.

John LaMantia had two hits for Colby in the first game, while Brian Liberty doubled for the Mules in the nightcap.
