WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College senior Caddy Brooks (Darien, Conn.) will play in the annual United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) North/South Senior Men’s Lacrosse All-Star Game this Saturday at 2 p.m. at Harvard Stadium.
Brooks will play for the North squad in the Division III game. The Division I/II contest will be held at 4 p.m., followed by a game between the Boston Cannons and Denver Outlaws at 7:30 p.m. in a Major League Lacrosse (MLL) contest. Brooks, a captain this past season, is one of 11 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) players competing in the game.
Brooks finished his career at Colby (8-7 overall, 4-5 NESCAC) with 91 goals and 79 assists for 170 points. He also had 193 groundballs and a shot percentage of about 40 percent.
In the final NESCAC statistics, Brooks ended the 2009 season ranked fourth in the league in assists (27), fourth in assists per game (1.80), 11th in points (48), and 11th in points per game (3.20). Brooks led the Mules in assists this past season and added 21 goals. The assist and point totals were both collegiate highs for Brooks.
