WATERVILLE, Maine – Colby College senior guard/forward Alison Cappelloni (Sudbury, Mass.) was named to the second team by three different organizations on Wednesday to bring her women's basketball postseason award total up to six.

Cappelloni was named to the second team on the D3hoops.com All-Northeast Region Team, the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA), and the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC). She has already been honored as one of 40 finalists for the State Farm Coaches All-America Team, a New England Small College Athletic Conference First Team selection, and a Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association (MWBCA) First Team pick.

Cappelloni finished her career with 1,229 points to rank sixth all-time in program history and had 646 rebounds and 138 assists. Cappelloni holds Colby records for 3-point field goals made in a career (186) and single-season 3-point field goals (63 this year).

In the latest NESCAC statistics, Cappelloni is the only player in the top 10 in scoring, rebounding, and 3-point field goal percentage. She also finished fourth in league free throw shooting (.790).
