Women's cross country 12th, men 24th at Open NE

BOSTON, Mass. --- Karen Prisby had the top time for the Colby College women's cross country team as the Mules placed 12th out of 46 teams at the Open New England Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Franklin Park.

The Colby men took 24th place out of 45 teams in a meet where Division I, II and III runners compete against each other. Prisby had a time of 18:23 in placing 27th overall out of 314 finishers. Anna King was 40th in 18:33 and Kathleen Maynard placed 62nd with an 18:55.

For the Colby men, Dan Vassallo was 50th out of 307 finishers with a time of 25:39.
