WEST CHESTER, Ohio --- Colby College senior Karen Prisby (Agawam, Mass.) is an All-American for the second time after placing 12th in the women's race at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships at Voice of America Park on Saturday.

Colby teammate Anna King (Greenland, N.H.) placed 57th and Dan Vassallo (Wilmington, Mass.) was 111th in the men's race.

Prisby had a time of 23 minutes, 20 seconds over the 6,000-meter course to improve seven spots from last year. She earned her first All-America honor by taking 19th place at last year's meet. Prisby was one of four NESCAC runners to place in the top 12 and Middlebury College earned the NCAA title by one point over Amherst College.

King, a junior, finished in 84th in last year's race and was nearly 30 places better in this race with a time of 24:19.

Vassallo was racing in his first NCAA meet in his four-year career and had a time of 28:38 over the men's 8,000-meter course.
