WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- Kirsten Davis placed 30th for the Colby College women and John Waller took 49th for the men's team at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Mount Greylock High School in a meet hosted by Williams College.
Davis had a time of 24 minutes, 11 seconds over the 6-kilometer course to help the Colby women take eighth out of 35 teams. Waller had a 27:46 over the men's 8-kilometer course.
Hannah Taska placed 51st in 24:36, Cassanda Knight was 55th in 24:40 and Jen Macdowell took 57th in 24:44 for the Colby women. Allison Cogbill finished in 65th with a 24:58, Lane Marder took 75th in 25:10 and Shannon Burnham was 81st in a field of 242 finishers in 25:23.
Chris Darrah was 73rd for the Colby men in 28:10. Bob Glotfelty (100th in 28:42), John Hall (101st in 28:44) and Dan Moss (105th in 28:47) finished in the top half of the field of 281 finishers. Chris Appel (126th in 29:08) and Chris Deroo (152nd in 29:43) were other Colby finishers.
Colby's top seven runners for both the men and women did not run this weekend.
