Choice averaged 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, shot 62 percent (16-for-26) from the field, and 86 percent (12-for-14) from the foul line. His play helped the Mules take home wins over Bates College (68-65) and Tufts University (71-68) to secure a NESCAC playoff spot. Colby is the eighth seed and will play at top-seeded Amherst College in a league quarterfinal game Saturday at 4 p.m. Choice had 18 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks in the win against Bates. His blocked shot with 21 seconds left and Colby up 66-65 helped the Mules hold on for the victory. Choice followed that game with 27 points and six rebounds in the victory over Tufts. In the latest NESCAC statistics, Choice is second in the conference in scoring (17.8), fourth in blocked shots (33 total, 1.38 per game), seventh in rebounding (7.7), and eighth in free throw shooting (.795, 136-171). Choice has 663 points, 338 rebounds, 48 blocked shots, and 73 steals in his two-year career with the Mules.
