Choice to play in NEBCA Senior All-Star Game

BABSON PARK, Mass. --- Colby College men's basketball All-American Adam Choice (Newport, R.I.) will play in the New England Basketball Coaches Association (NEBCA) Division III Senior All-Star Game on Sunday at Babson College.

The teams will play at Staake Gymnasium on the campus of Babson in Wellesley, Mass., at 1:00pm. Admission into the game is free.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Coaches vs. Cancer campaign. The game will feature many players who have garnered All-America status as well as all-region, all-conference, and conference player of the year honors. The rosters were selected by several committees made up of area college coaches .

Choice was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) third team and the fourth team for his All-American honors. He also played in the NABC Division III Senior All-Star Game in Virginia at the NCAA Division III Final Four. Choice is a three-time New England Small College Athletic Conference all-league selection and was the Maine State Division III Player of the Year for the past three seasons.

Choice finished his career ranked eighth all-time in scoring for Colby with 1,534 points. He also had 654 rebounds, 185 assists, 134 steals, and 95 blocked shots during his four years.

In the final NESCAC statistics, Choice ranked tied for second in scoring (18.3), eighth in assists (3.4), ninth in blocked shots (1.04), tied for ninth in steals (1.16), and 10th in rebounding (6.7).
